About the Role

Our client is a rapidly growing, female-founded fine jewelry company, specializing in custom engagement rings and fine jewelry. We are seeking a Production Associate to join our team! The ideal candidate should have a passion for product, along with exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail. These qualities are essential for this role.

Responsibilities::

  • Place and manage custom and small-batch purchase orders (POs) with manufacturing partners.
  • Track and maintain open production orders, ensuring timely updates across internal teams.
  • Monitor and update production lead times, proactively communicating any changes or delays.
  • Maintain accurate PO tracking and vendor follow-ups to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Communicate delayed orders and updated timelines to cross-functional partners as needed.
  • Track production progress and maintain internal WIP and order status reports.
  • Coordinate with vendors on production timelines, packaging standards, and shipment schedules.
  • Work closely with the Quality Control team to track QC failures and product returns, maintain clear documentation, and provide product and shipment information needed to support the review of inbound inventory.
  • Troubleshoot production issues with vendors and internal teams to resolve delays or discrepancies.
  • Partner with Product Development to ensure production meets quality standards and cost expectations.
  • Review and reconcile production-related invoices for accuracy.
  • Support internal reporting and production status updates for weekly team meetings.
  • Maintain a time and action production calendar.
  • Manage daily overseas vendor communication related to production orders, production timelines, labeling, and packaging standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2+ years of experience in production, supply chain, or manufacturing coordination,

preferably in jewelry or accessories.

  • Experience managing purchase orders and vendor communication.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets; NetSuite proficiency preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple production timelines simultaneously.
  • Experience working with overseas vendors is a plus.
  • Comfortability with AI is preferred.
  • E-commerce or direct-to-consumer brand experience preferred.

Details

  • Office Hours: 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, with the knowledge that we have a startup culture and your day may extend past listed office hours.

Must-Have Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree and 2+ years of experience in production, supply chain, or manufacturing coordination, preferably in jewelry or accessories, with experience managing purchase orders and vendor communication.

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience working with overseas vendors, comfortability with AI, and e-commerce or direct-to-consumer brand experience.

Tools & Tech Stack

  • Strong proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets, with NetSuite proficiency preferred.
