About the Role

NetSuite Administrator Reports to: Sr. Director of IT Location: Remote

Role Overview This role will be the primary point of contact for NetSuite user support and will partner across the organization to answer questions, troubleshoot and resolve issues, improve NetSuite business processes, manage system changes, and maximize the value of the platform. The administrator will also oversee system integrations, data integrity, releases, reporting, users, roles, and permissions. This is a highly hands-on role. The individual will be expected to directly configure, troubleshoot, test, and optimize NetSuite rather than simply manage or route work to outside consultants. When external partners are required, the NetSuite Administrator will own the relationship and issue through resolution. The role will proactively identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, and new functionality to ensure NetSuite remains reliable, scalable, and optimized for business success. Key Responsibilities  Own and administer the NetSuite environment, including system configuration, data integrity, workflows, forms, fields, roles, permissions, and overall system health and performance  Serve as the primary point of contact for NetSuite user support, responding to user questions, troubleshooting issues, debugging problems, and providing guidance and training to ensure users can effectively leverage the platform  Own the NetSuite issue intake and triage process, evaluating reported issues to determine whether they are related to user knowledge, business processes, system configuration, integrations, or third-party functionality, and resolving or appropriately escalating issues as needed  Partner with business users to identify and resolve system issues, determine root causes, and recommend solutions or process improvements  Manage NetSuite releases and system updates, including reviewing upcoming functionality, assessing business impact, coordinating testing, communicating changes, and ensuring the organization is prepared for each release  Own testing and change management for configuration changes, workflows, integrations, and releases, ensuring changes are properly tested, documented, communicated, and implemented with minimal business disruption

 Serve as the primary point of contact for NetSuite integrations, partnering with internal teams, external vendors, and integration partners to monitor integrations, troubleshoot issues, and ensure accurate and reliable data flow  Manage vendor and partner relationships, including NetSuite, consultants, integration partners, and other third-party providers. Coordinate support cases, evaluate recommendations, and ensure external resources are delivering value  Support reporting and analytics, helping users create and maintain saved searches, dashboards, reports, and other NetSuite reporting tools to provide accurate and actionable business information  Manage users, roles, and permissions, ensuring appropriate access, maintaining security and controls, and regularly reviewing permissions to support business needs and system governance  Maintain data integrity and system controls, monitoring the quality, accuracy, and consistency of NetSuite data and establishing processes to prevent duplicate, incomplete, or inaccurate information  Own NetSuite governance and documentation, maintaining system documentation, configurations, integrations, processes, controls, and user support resources  Own the NetSuite roadmap and continuous improvement strategy, proactively identifying system capabilities, automation opportunities, integrations, and process improvements to ensure NetSuite evolves with the needs of the business  Continuously optimize NetSuite, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, automate manual processes, enhance system functionality, and improve the overall user experience  Partner with business stakeholders on system enhancements, translating business requirements into scalable NetSuite solutions and prioritizing improvements based on business impact  Develop and maintain user training and documentation, creating process guides and training materials and proactively addressing recurring user issues to improve adoption and reduce repeat support requests  Proactively identify opportunities to improve how the organization uses NetSuite rather than simply responding to user requests

Qualifications  3–5+ years of hands-on NetSuite administration experience, ideally in a high volume multi-brand/multi-subsidiary environment  Working knowledge of SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, and SuiteAnalytics/saved searches.  Experience troubleshooting integrations between NetSuite and other platforms (e.g., Fivetran, HubSpot, EDI, Celligo or similar ETL/CRM tools).  Strong understanding of financial and operational data flows (order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, inventory).  NetSuite Administrator certification preferred, not required.  Comfortable being the sole/primary internal NetSuite resource
