About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bilingual Employment Law Paralegal to support attorneys in a remote U.S. employment-law practice. The ideal candidate is fluent in English and Spanish, has strong knowledge of employment-law litigation and case management, and can communicate professionally and empathetically with clients.

The paralegal will assist with employment-law matters including wrongful termination, workplace discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage-and-hour disputes, employment contracts, and related litigation.

Key Responsibilities Assist attorneys with employment-law litigation from intake through resolution. Conduct client intake interviews and gather relevant facts and documentation. Communicate with Spanish- and English-speaking clients by phone, email, and video conference. Translate and interpret client communications and legal documents between Spanish and English when needed. Prepare and organize pleadings, discovery requests and responses, declarations, demand letters, correspondence, and other legal documents. Assist with discovery, including document collection, review, organization, and preparation of discovery responses. Conduct legal and factual research relating to employment-law matters. Maintain accurate electronic case files, calendars, deadlines, and case-management systems. Assist attorneys with case preparation, hearings, depositions, mediations, and trial preparation. Prepare case chronologies, summaries, exhibits, and evidence indexes. Communicate with opposing counsel, courts, clients, witnesses, and other third parties as directed by attorneys. Monitor deadlines and proactively follow up on outstanding tasks and documents. Maintain strict confidentiality and comply with applicable ethical and professional standards. Perform other paralegal and administrative duties as assigned. Employment Law Areas

Wrongful termination Workplace discrimination Sexual harassment and workplace harassment Retaliation and whistleblower claims Wage-and-hour disputes Employment contracts and severance agreements Employee misclassification Leave and accommodation issues Workplace investigations Employment litigation and administrative claims Qualifications 2+ years of paralegal experience, preferably in employment law or litigation. Fluent written and spoken English and Spanish. Strong understanding of U.S. legal terminology and legal procedures. Experience working with U.S. law firms or U.S. employment-law matters strongly preferred. Excellent legal writing, proofreading, and document-preparation skills. Strong organizational and time-management abilities. Ability to manage multiple cases and competing deadlines independently. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Professional and compassionate client-communication skills. Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Google Workspace and legal case-management software.

Must-Have Skills

2+ years of paralegal experience with fluency in English and Spanish, strong knowledge of U.S. employment-law litigation and case management, and ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Nice-to-Have

Experience with wrongful termination, workplace discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage-and-hour disputes, employment contracts, or workplace investigations; background working with U.S. law firms.

Tools & Tech Stack

Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, legal case-management software, and video conferencing platforms for remote client communication.
