AI Automation Lead

The AI Automation Lead is responsible for designing, building, and deploying AI-powered tools, agents, and workflows that improve operational efficiency across the business. This role partners with cross-functional teams to automate manual processes, drive AI adoption through training and documentation, and continuously optimize workflows using LLMs and automation platforms. The ideal candidate combines hands-on AI automation expertise with strong communication and change management skills.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and deploy AI-powered internal tools, agents, and workflows using the company’s Claude environment.
• Analyze business processes and identify automation opportunities.
• Transform manual, unstructured workflows into scalable AI-driven solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand operational pain points and implement practical AI solutions.
• Create documentation, SOPs, and best practices for AI workflows.
• Train and coach employees on AI tools, agents, and automation workflows.
• Drive company-wide AI adoption and monitor usage and feedback.
• Continuously improve AI workflows based on business needs and user feedback.
• Research and evaluate new AI tools, capabilities, and technologies.
• Partner with leadership to develop and execute the company’s AI automation roadmap.

• Proven experience building and deploying AI automations, AI agents, or internal applications using Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Experience converting complex business processes into automated workflows.
• Strong understanding of AI workflow design, automation, and operational optimization.
• Demonstrated success driving adoption of AI solutions across business teams.
• Excellent communication, training, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience documenting processes, SOPs, and AI best practices.

• Light coding experience (Python, JavaScript, or similar).
• Experience working with APIs and AI integrations.
• Familiarity with Zapier, Make, ClickUp, Airtable, Notion, or similar automation platforms.
• Experience in startup or high-growth environments.
• Knowledge of prompt evaluation, AI governance, and AI workflow optimization best practices.
