NetSuite Administrator / ERP Developer (Accounting & Shopify)

Role Summary

A highly technical NetSuite Administrator / ERP Developer responsible for owning and optimizing a multi-subsidiary, international NetSuite ERP environment. This role oversees NetSuite administration, SuiteScript development, ERP automation, system integrations, and supports Finance, Accounting, Operations, Supply Chain, and Ecommerce teams.

The ideal candidate has a strong combination of NetSuite technical expertise, ERP development, ecommerce integrations, and accounting systems knowledge, with experience supporting high-volume DTC (Direct-to-Consumer) businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

NetSuite Administration

• Serve as the primary administrator for a multi-subsidiary, international NetSuite environment.
• Configure and maintain NetSuite modules, workflows, forms, roles, permissions, saved searches, dashboards, and reports.
• Manage sandbox testing, system upgrades, and production deployments.
• Monitor ERP health, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data integrity.
• Support Accounting, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and Customer Experience teams.

NetSuite Development & Automation

• Develop and maintain custom SuiteScript 2.x solutions.
• Build Map/Reduce Scripts, Suitelets, User Event Scripts, Scheduled Scripts, and RESTlets.
• Create and optimize SuiteFlows, workflows, and custom records.
• Automate financial and operational processes.
• Optimize scripts for performance and scalability.

Integrations

• Own and maintain the iPaaS/middleware integration layer.
• Manage integrations between: Shopify to NetSuite, Marketplace Channels to NetSuite, 3PL/Warehouse to NetSuite, Returns Platforms to NetSuite, Finance and Supply Chain systems to NetSuite.
• Monitor integration errors, troubleshoot issues, and improve workflows.

Accounting & Finance Systems

• Support month-end and year-end close.
• Configure and maintain General Ledger, AP, AR, Customer Deposits, Fixed Assets, Procurement, and Bank Reconciliation.
• Support inventory accounting, landed costs, average costing, and financial reporting.
• Assist with ERP governance, audit readiness, and internal controls.

Inventory & Operations

• Support inventory receipts, SKU transitions, item master updates, wholesale/B2B order flows, and 3PL processes.
• Participate in inventory initiatives such as lot tracking and expiration management.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with Finance, Accounting, Operations, Supply Chain, Ecommerce, Customer Experience, and Data teams.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable NetSuite solutions.
• Coordinate with external NetSuite consultants and integration partners.
• Document business processes and technical solutions.

• Experience:
• 5+ years of NetSuite Administration experience.
• Experience with NetSuite OneWorld (multi-subsidiary, international environments).
• Strong hands-on SuiteScript 2.x development (Map/Reduce, Suitelets, User Event, Scheduled Scripts, RESTlets).
• Experience integrating NetSuite with Shopify in a DTC/ecommerce environment.
• Hands-on experience with iPaaS/middleware platforms (Celigo, Boomi, or similar).
• Experience with 3PL/Warehouse integrations and inventory management.
• Strong understanding of Accounting & Finance processes within NetSuite (GL, AP/AR, month-end close, inventory accounting).
