About the Role
We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Supply Chain Planner to support the day-to-day execution of supply chain operations. This role is responsible for ensuring purchase orders, production schedules, and inbound materials move through the supply chain accurately and on time.
Working closely with suppliers, contract manufacturers, and internal cross-functional teams, you will proactively identify risks, maintain inventory accuracy, and help ensure products are delivered on schedule. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced consumer products environment and enjoys owning operational processes from purchase order through delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and manage Purchase Orders (POs), Work Orders (WOs), Transfer Orders (TOs), and Item Receipts within NetSuite (or a comparable ERP system)
- Own weekly open order reviews with suppliers to ensure orders remain accurate, on time, and complete
- Maintain ERP data by updating expected ship and delivery dates
- Track production schedules and monitor inbound materials and finished goods to ensure timely delivery
- Identify production, supplier, or material risks early and escalate issues before they impact the business
- Reconcile inventory with contract manufacturers and resolve discrepancies
- Monitor excess inventory and implement actions to minimise carrying costs and waste
- Analyse freight and expedited shipping options to improve production timelines
- Partner with suppliers to improve lead times and overall supply chain performance
- Support supplier negotiations to achieve favourable pricing and commercial terms
- Process Bill of Materials (BOM) revisions and communicate updates to suppliers
- Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies in partnership with Finance and suppliers
- Provide regular inventory and supply risk updates to internal stakeholders
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Procurement, Finance, and Product teams to ensure business continuity
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Planning, or Purchasing
- Experience within the beauty, personal care, consumer goods, or FMCG industry is highly preferred
- Hands-on experience using NetSuite or another ERP platform
- Experience creating and managing Purchase Orders, Work Orders, Transfer Orders, and Item Receipts
- Experience working directly with contract manufacturers and packaging suppliers
- Strong understanding of purchase order lifecycle management, inventory reconciliation, and BOM management
- Advanced organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Strong communication skills with the ability to manage supplier relationships effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting, tracking, and data analysis
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy

Deal Breakers

- Hands-on NetSuite (or comparable ERP) experience
- Direct experience working with contract manufacturers and packaging suppliers
