About the Role
FULL TIME REMOTE
Position: QA Analyst (Automation)
Working Hours: Monday–Friday (Overlap with US business hours preferred)
Scope of the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Analyst with a strong automation background to ensure the quality and reliability of our web applications. This role combines manual and automated testing, working closely with developers, product managers, and engineering teams to identify issues early and maintain high software quality standards.
Duties and Responsibilities Design and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases. Develop, maintain, and improve automated testing frameworks and scripts. Perform manual testing when automation is not applicable. Execute functional, regression, integration, smoke, and end-to-end testing. Test REST APIs using Postman or similar tools. Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects. Work closely with developers to reproduce and resolve issues. Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and QA estimation. Validate bug fixes and perform regression testing before releases. Maintain testing documentation and QA best practices. Contribute to improving the overall testing strategy and automation coverage. Support CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated tests into deployment workflows. Requirements 3+ years of QA experience with automation testing. Strong experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar automation frameworks. Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, Python, or C# for test automation. Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies. Experience testing REST APIs. Experience with Jira and test management tools such as TestRail, Zephyr, or Xray. Familiarity with Git version control. Basic SQL knowledge for database validation. Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking. Excellent communication skills in English. Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps. Experience testing mobile applications. Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter or k6. ISTQB certification is a plus. Experience in SaaS or high-growth technology companies.
Must-Have Skills
- 3+ years of QA automation experience with expertise in Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress, plus proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, Python, or C#; strong English communication and ability to work independently in a fully remote environment with US business hours overlap.
Nice-to-Have
- CI/CD tool experience (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps), mobile app testing, performance testing tools (JMeter, k6), ISTQB certification, or SaaS/high-growth tech company background.
