We're looking for an experienced EDI Administrator who thrives in a fast-paced consumer products environment and enjoys solving operational challenges that keep orders flowing seamlessly between our business and our retail partners.

About the Role We're looking for an experienced EDI Administrator to own the day-to-day management of our EDI ecosystem and support our NetSuite ERP environment. This person will be responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant electronic document exchange between Happy Innovations and our retail partners, distributors, warehouses, and logistics providers.

You'll work closely with Operations, Customer Service, Finance, Supply Chain, and external trading partners to resolve issues quickly, improve processes, and support continued growth across wholesale and retail channels.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, process improvement, retailer compliance, and making sure orders move without interruption.

What You'll Own

EDI Administration

• Manage the company's day-to-day EDI operations across all retail and wholesale trading partners.
• Monitor inbound and outbound EDI transactions to ensure successful processing.
• Troubleshoot failed transactions and resolve errors quickly to minimize customer impact.
• Coordinate retailer onboarding, testing, mapping, and production go-lives.
• Maintain EDI documentation, transaction maps, implementation guides, and trading partner profiles.
• Monitor EDI performance metrics and identify recurring issues requiring long-term improvements.

Trading Partner Support

• Serve as the primary point of contact for retailers, distributors, and EDI providers regarding integration issues.
• Coordinate new retailer implementations.
• Ensure compliance with retailer-specific EDI requirements.
• Help reduce retailer chargebacks by proactively identifying data or process issues.
• Work closely with SPS Commerce, TrueCommerce, or similar EDI providers.

NetSuite Administration Support

• Support NetSuite users across Operations, Finance, Customer Service, and Supply Chain.
• Configure and maintain EDI-related records, item data, customer records, and transaction workflows.
• Assist with Saved Searches, reports, dashboards, and operational troubleshooting.
• Support system enhancements, testing, and release validation.
• Help maintain data integrity across NetSuite.

Operations & Process Improvement

• Identify manual processes that can be automated.
• Improve order processing accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Create SOPs and documentation for EDI and ERP processes.
• Support month-end reconciliation related to orders, invoices, shipments, and inventory.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to continuously improve workflows.

• Retail orders process successfully with minimal manual intervention.
• EDI errors are resolved quickly and root causes are documented.
• Retail compliance issues and chargebacks are minimized.
• Trading partner onboarding is smooth and on schedule.
• NetSuite data remains accurate and reliable.
• Internal teams have confidence in system performance.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience administering EDI systems in a wholesale, retail, manufacturing, or consumer products environment.
• Hands-on experience with major EDI transaction sets including 850, 855, 856, 810, 846, 997, and related retail documents.
• Experience working with EDI providers such as SPS Commerce, TrueCommerce, Orderful, or CommerceHub.
• Experience supporting NetSuite ERP.
• Strong understanding of retail order lifecycle and fulfillment processes.
• Experience troubleshooting EDI production issues.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Comfortable working cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, Customer Service, and external partners.

• Limited understanding of wholesale order lifecycle and fulfillment operations.

• 3+ years of EDI administration experience.
• Strong NetSuite ERP experience.
• Hands-on experience managing retail trading partners.
• Experience with common EDI transaction sets (850, 855, 856, 810, 846, 997).
• Strong troubleshooting and issue-resolution skills.
• Experience working with EDI providers like SPS Commerce or TrueCommerce.

• Experience with Shopify or Shopify Plus.
• Experience working with Amazon Vendor Central.
• Familiarity with SuiteFlow, SuiteAnalytics, or SuiteScript.
• Experience supporting 3PL and warehouse integrations.
• API integration experience.
• Consumer packaged goods (CPG), retail, or eCommerce background.
