Graphic Designer (Project Based)

Our client is looking for a Senior Presentation Graphic Designer to immediately join the team and help finalize a high-profile venture fund pitch deck. The narrative and content are already established—your job is to transform it into a premium, world-class presentation.

This is not a traditional marketing or social media design role. We're looking for someone who specializes in high-end presentation design, editorial storytelling, and data visualization, with the ability to elevate complex information into visually compelling slides.

The ideal candidate has exceptional design taste, works quickly under tight deadlines, and understands how to create decks that feel polished, dimensional, and investor-ready.

What You'll Do Transform an existing venture fund deck into a premium, investor-ready presentation. Improve typography, spacing, layout hierarchy, and overall visual storytelling. Redesign infographics and diagrams to create clear, elegant visual communication. Apply editorial design principles to improve narrative flow and pacing throughout the presentation. Create modern, dimensional slides that communicate complex ideas simply. Work from an existing content outline while elevating the visual experience. Follow a provided design reference and adapt its style into the final presentation. Collaborate independently with minimal direction while maintaining high quality under aggressive timelines. Deliver presentation-ready files with excellent attention to detail.

Must-Have Qualifications 5+ years of professional graphic design experience with a strong focus on presentation design. Proven portfolio showcasing venture capital, investor, fundraising, executive, consulting, or corporate presentation decks. Exceptional typography, composition, spacing, and visual hierarchy skills. Advanced experience designing: Infographics Data visualization Editorial layouts Complex presentation graphics Strong understanding of storytelling through presentation design. Experience working with U.S.-based clients or companies. Excellent written and spoken English. Ability to work independently with minimal oversight. Comfortable working under tight deadlines and delivering high-quality work quickly.

Preferred Qualifications Experience designing decks for venture capital firms, startups, consulting firms, or investment companies. Editorial or magazine design background. Experience creating investor presentations or fundraising decks. Spanish language skills are a strong plus, as part of the internal team communicates in Spanish. Experience working in fast-paced startup environments.

• Graphic designer with proven expertise in typography, infographics, spatial layout, and high-end presentation design for venture fund decks, capable of starting Monday morning PST.

• Experience with editorial storytelling, complex data visualization, fast turnaround timelines, and understanding narrative pacing in deck design.

• Proficiency in design software for deck creation (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Keynote, or PowerPoint) with demonstrated ability to create dimensional, modern presentation graphics.
