We are partnering with a fast-growing, female-founded beauty and personal care brand known for its science-backed skincare and haircare products. With a strong direct-to-consumer presence and a loyal customer base, the company is focused on delivering exceptional customer experiences through innovation, personalization, and data-driven marketing.
The client is seeking a highly analytical and strategic Senior Project Manager to lead customer engagement, retention, and lifecycle marketing initiatives. This role will be responsible for creating personalized customer journeys across email, SMS, and CRM channels to drive retention, increase customer lifetime value (LTV), and strengthen brand loyalty.
The ideal candidate combines strong marketing strategy, technical CRM expertise, and data-driven decision-making, with deep experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and lifecycle marketing execution.
Key Responsibilities
CRM & Lifecycle Marketing
- Develop and execute customer lifecycle strategies that improve retention, engagement, repeat purchase behavior, and customer lifetime value.
- Design and optimize personalized customer journeys across email, SMS, and other owned channels.
- Create audience segmentation strategies and customer personas to deliver highly relevant customer experiences.
- Manage ongoing campaign deployment, automation workflows, and triggered communications.
- Identify opportunities to increase customer engagement and revenue through lifecycle marketing initiatives.
Email Marketing & Marketing Automation
- Build, program, test, and deploy email campaigns, automated journeys, and triggered communications.
- Manage email marketing calendars, campaign schedules, cohort plans, and testing roadmaps.
- Ensure best practices for deliverability, personalization, dynamic content, and audience management.
- Maintain and optimize lifecycle flows, including onboarding, retention, re-engagement, and promotional campaigns.
- Partner with creative and content teams to develop effective campaign messaging and creative briefs.
Promotions & Personalization
- Support CRM-driven promotional strategies and personalized customer offers.
- Coordinate cross-functional execution of sitewide promotions and marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate with Product, Creative, Digital, and external partners to bring customer-focused initiatives to life.
- Manage project workflows, documentation, and campaign tracking processes.
Analytics & Performance Reporting
- Analyze customer behavior, purchase patterns, acquisition sources, cohort performance, and churn trends.
- Develop reporting frameworks, dashboards, scorecards, and KPI tracking.
- Monitor email and SMS performance metrics and provide actionable recommendations.
- Conduct A/B testing and experimentation to continuously improve campaign effectiveness.
- Communicate insights and performance learnings to stakeholders across the organization.
Quality Assurance & Operations
- Perform QA on campaigns, automation journeys, segmentation logic, and promotional communications.
- Ensure flawless execution across all CRM marketing initiatives.
- Maintain campaign documentation, workflows, and operational processes.
Qualifications
Required Experience
- 6+ years of experience in CRM, lifecycle marketing, retention marketing, customer analytics, or related strategic marketing roles.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (or equivalent enterprise CRM platform).
- Proven experience developing and executing email marketing and customer lifecycle programs.
- Strong analytical background with experience interpreting customer and marketing performance data.
- Experience managing cross-functional projects and stakeholder relationships.
Preferred Experience
- Experience within DTC eCommerce environments.
- Beauty, wellness, personal care, subscription, or consumer products industry experience is highly preferred.
- Experience with SMS marketing platforms and omnichannel customer engagement strategies.
- Familiarity with experimentation frameworks, A/B testing, and customer segmentation methodologies.
- Working knowledge of HTML; SQL experience is a plus.

Must-Have Skills
- 6+ years in analytical/strategic marketing roles with CRM, customer analytics, or retention marketing background, plus expert-level Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience and strong data analysis skills.

- DTC e-commerce experience (especially beauty or subscription), HTML/SQL knowledge, cross-functional collaboration with brand/creative teams, and deep email marketing platform expertise.
