About the Role
Web & UI/UX Designer
Mission Statement: Design and optimize visually compelling, brand-aligned digital experiences that elevate Kitsch's e-commerce presence. This role enhances user engagement and drives conversions by delivering best-in-class, mobile-first design for all web assets. The Web & UI/UX Designer ensures consistency, creativity, and usability across every digital touchpoint while supporting high-impact seasonal campaigns and strategic initiatives.
Outcomes : Deliver on average 10 homepage banners per month – Banners must align with brand style and seasonal campaigns, with first drafts submitted by the 5th of each month.
Update category imagery monthly – Refresh all category assets by the last business day of each month; reflect new product launches or seasonal updates.
Produce UX wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes for major web projects – Complete at least 2 user flows per month in Figma with approval from the Senior Director of Technology.
Maintain mobile-first design standards across all assets – 100% of homepage, category, and promotional assets must be responsive and optimized for mobile and tablet viewports.
Conduct and report on at least 1 A/B test per a week – Present performance insights and design adjustments to the Tech or Creative team post-test.
Meet 95%+ on-time delivery rate for assigned web design projects – Track project milestones; on-time defined as within the agreed-upon timeline.
Support Black Friday/Cyber Monday campaigns with 100% asset readiness by deadline – Deliver all required creatives at least 3 business days before launch dates.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field. Minimum of 4 years of experience in graphic design, with a focus on web design and UX/UI. A portfolio that showcases relevant work, especially in website design, mobile-first design, and UI/UX projects. Must have E-commerce experience. Experience in the beauty industry highly preferred.

Must-Have Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field with minimum 4 years of web design and UI/UX experience, proven e-commerce portfolio showcasing mobile-first and website design work.
Nice-to-Have
- Beauty industry experience, A/B testing methodology knowledge, and familiarity with conversion optimization best practices.
Tools & Tech Stack
- Figma and Photoshop for design execution, with proficiency in responsive design workflows and prototyping.
