Asana Implementation & Workflow Specialist (Contract)
Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Asana Implementation & Workflow Specialist to support our transition from Wrike to Asana. This is a short-term contract role focused on helping design, build, and optimize our Asana workspace to ensure efficient project management, clear workflows, and team adoption.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the setup and configuration of Asana based on business and operational needs. • Support the migration and transfer of projects, tasks, and workflows from Wrike to Asana. • Design and implement scalable project structures, templates, dashboards, and reporting systems. • Create and optimize workflows to improve team collaboration, visibility, and efficiency. • Establish best practices for task management, project tracking, and resource planning within Asana. • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand existing processes and translate them into effective Asana workflows. • Provide recommendations on workspace organization, automation, and process improvements. • Assist with documentation and training materials to support user adoption. • Offer guidance and troubleshooting throughout the implementation process.
Requirements
• Proven experience implementing and managing Asana for teams and organizations. • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and workflow design. • Experience migrating projects from platforms such as Wrike, Monday.com, ClickUp, Jira, or similar tools. • Ability to create scalable project structures, automations, and reporting dashboards. • Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills. • Comfortable working independently and providing strategic recommendations.
Preferred Qualifications
• Previous experience supporting operations, project management, or executive teams. • Experience training teams and driving software adoption. • Familiarity with integrations and workflow automation tools.
Engagement Details
• Contract: Short-term project-based engagement. • Hours: Flexible based on project scope. • Start Date: Immediate. • Location: Remote.

We’re looking for someone who is highly detail-oriented, proactive, and confident in building Asana environments from the ground up. The ideal candidate will not only execute the migration but also recommend best practices and create a system that enables long-term operational success.
Must-Have Skills
- Proven hands-on experience implementing and managing Asana for teams, with demonstrated expertise in project management methodologies, workflow design, and migration from platforms like Wrike, Monday.com, ClickUp, or Jira.
Nice-to-Have
- Background supporting operations or project management teams, experience training users and driving software adoption, and familiarity with workflow automation tools and integrations.
