Wikipedia Editor- Project Based

About the project We're finalizing updates to an existing Wikipedia page for our CEO. The copy and sources are already prepared, and the work is well advanced — a previous vendor took it most of the way but couldn't see it through to a stable, compliant result. We need someone to review the existing material, ensure it meets Wikipedia's standards, and help us complete the updates properly. What you'll do

Review the prepared copy and sources for compliance with Wikipedia's editing guidelines (notability, neutral point of view, reliable sourcing, conflict-of-interest rules). Advise on anything that needs adjusting to meet those standards. Help finalize and implement the page updates so they hold up and reflect the agreed version.

What we're looking for

Demonstrated experience editing Wikipedia and working within its guidelines and policies. Familiarity with sourcing and citation requirements. Reliable, communicative, and able to work on an hourly or short-term project basis.

Nice to have

Experience with SEO, Google Publishing, or Google News — we have potential follow-on work in this area.

Engagement Hourly or short-term project (flexible), with potential for additional projects for the right person.

• Demonstrated Wikipedia editing experience with proven knowledge of notability, neutral point of view, reliable sourcing, and conflict-of-interest policies.

• Background in SEO, Google Publishing, or Google News is a bonus for potential follow-on work.

• Wikipedia editing platform, citation/sourcing tools, and standard web browsers.
