About the Role

This is a senior strategy seat responsible for owning holistic retention strategy across email, SMS, and, where relevant, subscription programs across a portfolio of brands.

Designers support the execution layer. The Retention Strategist leads strategy, briefs the pod, and owns the client relationship.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Retention Management

  • Create monthly strategic plans for each brand, including:
  • Flow architecture
  • Campaign calendars
  • Segmentation logic

Conduct account audits and optimization, including:

  • Deliverability
  • List health
  • Flow performance

Develop and manage A/B testing roadmaps Contribute learnings to the internal knowledge library

Campaign & Team Coordination

  • Deliver campaign briefs to designers and copywriters
  • Onboard new brands into the Kracked system
  • Lead strategy while coordinating execution through internal teams

Client Relationship Management

  • Own client relationships across assigned accounts
  • Lead weekly client calls
  • Manage asynchronous client communication through Slack and the internal operating system
  • Present performance insights and strategic recommendations

Reporting & Performance Analysis

  • Produce performance reporting tied to 1-day click attribution
  • Analyze attribution data and performance metrics
  • Build client-ready reports and defend recommendations during client discussions

Must-Have Skills

  • 3+ years of hands-on Klaviyo experience in agency or DTC environments
  • Proven ownership of multiple brands simultaneously
  • Strong Shopify understanding, including: Subscription apps, Customer tags, and Product feeds
  • Ability to read Klaviyo attribution data
  • Experience building client-ready reports and presenting recommendations
  • Ability to work EST overlap hours and communicate asynchronously in Slack
  • Strong written and spoken English
  • Comfortable in a senior, client-facing role

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience within health, wellness, or supplements categories
  • Knowledge of subscription platforms including: Skio, Recharge, Stay AI
  • Experience with: BIMI, DMARC, Deliverability tooling
