About the Role
We are seeking a highly strategic and execution-focused Digital Commerce Leader to drive the next phase of growth across direct-to-consumer and marketplace channels.
This is not a traditional ecommerce management role. This position is designed for a builder and operator someone who understands how digital product, conversion optimization, merchandising, subscriptions, customer experience, analytics, Shopify, and Amazon work together to drive revenue.
You will serve as the connective link across Marketing, Ecommerce, Creative, Technology, Operations, Analytics, and Marketplace teams. Your focus will be identifying high-impact opportunities, prioritizing effectively, and executing initiatives that increase revenue, conversion, retention, and customer lifetime value.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Commerce Strategy
- Own and drive the digital commerce roadmap across Shopify and key customer touchpoints
- Identify, prioritize, and execute high-impact growth initiatives
- Translate business objectives into actionable product and commerce strategies
- Align cross-functional teams and resources to drive execution
- Establish accountability across critical growth initiatives
Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)
- Build and manage a structured experimentation and A/B testing program
- Develop a testing roadmap focused on conversion, retention, and revenue growth
- Analyze customer behavior to identify friction points across the funnel
- Optimize mobile experience, PDPs, checkout flow, and navigation
- Implement and scale testing tools and frameworks
Digital Product Management
- Own the end-to-end digital customer experience from discovery through purchase
- Prioritize site enhancements based on business impact and user experience
- Define product requirements and partner with design and engineering teams
- Drive implementation of new features and commerce capabilities
Subscription Commerce
- Lead initiatives to improve subscriber acquisition, retention, and lifetime value
- Support optimization and migration of subscription platforms (e.g., Ordergroove, Recharge, Skio)
- Develop subscription merchandising strategies
- Build reporting frameworks and identify lifecycle optimization opportunities
Merchandising & Taxonomy
- Develop scalable product categorization and taxonomy frameworks
- Improve site navigation, filtering, and search functionality
- Optimize merchandising strategies to increase conversion and AOV
- Create systems for SKU organization and product architecture
Customer Experience
- Map and optimize the end-to-end customer journey
- Identify and eliminate friction points impacting conversion and retention
- Partner with CX teams to improve satisfaction and loyalty
- Ensure a seamless omnichannel experience across DTC and marketplace channels
Analytics & Performance
- Build dashboards and KPI reporting frameworks
- Monitor and optimize key metrics, including:
- Conversion Rate & Mobile Conversion
- Revenue per Session
- Average Order Value (AOV)
- Subscription Retention & LTV
- Checkout & PDP Conversion
- Search & Merchandising Performance
- Use data to drive prioritization and investment decisions
Marketplace & Amazon Growth
- Align DTC and marketplace strategies to drive overall revenue growth
- Identify opportunities to improve merchandising and customer acquisition across channels
- Ensure consistency between marketplace and DTC experiences
- Leverage cross-channel insights to inform strategy
Qualifications
Required Experience
- 7+ years of experience in Digital Commerce, Ecommerce, Product Management, or Growth
- Proven experience scaling a consumer or DTC brand (e.g., beauty, wellness, apparel, lifestyle)
- Deep expertise in Shopify (Shopify Plus preferred)
- Strong background in conversion rate optimization and experimentation
- Experience with subscription platforms (Ordergroove, Recharge, or Skio)
- Experience owning digital product roadmaps and cross-functional initiatives
- Strong analytical skills and experience working with large datasets
- Excellent project management and prioritization abilities
- Ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority
Preferred Experience
- Amazon marketplace experience
- Experience in beauty, wellness, luxury, or lifestyle brands
- Experience supporting businesses at $50M+ in annual revenue
- Hands-on experience implementing A/B testing programs
- Background in digital merchandising and taxonomy optimization
- Familiarity with AI tools and modern ecommerce technology stacks

Must-Have Skills
- 7+ years in digital commerce, e-commerce, or product management with proven experience scaling a consumer/DTC brand, deep Shopify expertise, strong CRO and experimentation knowledge, and subscription platform experience (Ordergroove/Recharge/Skio).
Nice-to-Have
- Amazon marketplace experience, beauty/wellness/luxury brand background, $50M+ revenue scale exposure, A/B testing platform implementation, digital merchandising expertise, and familiarity with AI tools and modern analytics stacks.
