About the Role

Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate and strategic Category Manager – Endurance to lead the growth and development of our endurance nutrition category. This individual will own category strategy, identify market opportunities, analyze consumer trends, and help shape the future of endurance-focused products.

The ideal candidate has experience in category management, product marketing, brand management, or sports nutrition and possesses a deep understanding of endurance athletes, their training demands, and their fueling and recovery needs.

This role will work cross-functionally with Product Development, Marketing, E-Commerce, Sales, Athletes, and Leadership teams to drive innovation and category growth.

Key Responsibilities Category Strategy & Growth Develop and execute category growth strategies for the RAW Endurance product portfolio. Identify new product opportunities based on consumer trends and market research. Build annual category plans aligned with business objectives. Monitor category performance and recommend growth initiatives. Consumer & Market Insights Stay informed on endurance nutrition trends, athlete behavior, and competitive activity. Analyze customer feedback, sales performance, and market data to uncover opportunities. Develop a deep understanding of endurance consumers, including runners, cyclists, triathletes, and hybrid athletes. Product Development & Launches Partner with Product Development teams to identify innovation opportunities. Support new product launches from concept through commercialization. Assist in product positioning, pricing, and go-to-market planning. Collaborate on athlete-focused education and marketing initiatives. Cross-Functional Leadership Work closely with Marketing, E-Commerce, Sales, Operations, and Leadership teams. Support retail and DTC growth initiatives. Ensure category priorities are aligned across departments. Present recommendations and category performance updates to stakeholders. Performance Analysis Track sales, profitability, market share, and key category KPIs. Build reporting and dashboards to monitor category health. Use data-driven insights to optimize assortment and growth strategies. Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience in Category Management, Product Marketing, Brand Management, or related roles. Strong understanding of endurance sports, including running, cycling, triathlon, and performance training. Experience analyzing consumer behavior and market trends. Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Experience working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience within sports nutrition, supplements, wellness, fitness, or CPG industries. Passion for endurance sports and performance nutrition. Experience supporting product launches and commercialization efforts. Knowledge of hydration, fueling, recovery, and endurance supplementation strategies. Familiarity with endurance communities, events, athletes, and industry influencers.

Must-Have Skills

  • Category management or product marketing experience with strong knowledge of endurance sports, athletes, and consumer behavior in the performance/wellness space.

Nice-to-Have

  • Background in supplements, fitness, or wellness industries; cross-functional launch experience; retail strategy expertise.

Tools & Tech Stack

  • Category management software, market analysis platforms, product management tools, and CRM systems typical to CPG/supplement companies.
