About the Role
Pricing & Promotion Specialist
About the Role We’re hiring a Pricing & Promotion Specialist to own pricing and promotional strategy across our e-commerce funnel. This person will help drive revenue through offer strategy, bundles, upsells, and rigorous experimentation.
This is a hands-on role for someone who can think strategically and execute directly in-platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize pricing and promotion strategies across the customer journey
- Build and manage bundles, BOGO offers, upsells, and related promotional mechanics
- Analyze unit economics, take rates, AOV, and related performance metrics
- Execute directly inside a Shopify-like e-commerce system
- Set up products, offers, funnels, and upsell flows
- Run and manage frequent A/B tests and experiments
- Use experimentation tools such as Statsig to design, launch, and analyze tests
- Own execution end-to-end: setup, testing, analysis, and iteration
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Strong interest or experience in CRO (conversion rate optimization)
- Comfortable being highly executional and working inside e-commerce systems
- Familiar with pricing, promotions, offers, and funnel optimization
- Analytical and confident working with performance metrics and experiments
- Junior-level candidate preferrer
- Hungry, proactive, and eager to learn
- Not a fit if primarily focused on:
- Media buying
- Meta buying
- Creative/content production
Tools / Environment
- Shopify-like e-commerce platform
- Statsig for experimentation and split testing
- Comparable testing mindset to tools like VWO or Optimizely, but with a more advanced experimentation setup
What Success Looks Like
- Launching and managing multiple experiments each week
- Improving conversion through better pricing and promotional strategy
- Owning execution without relying on other teams to implement changes
- Bringing an energetic, adaptable, and hands-on approach to growth
Must-Have Skills
- Junior-level candidate with strong interest or hands-on experience in CRO, pricing strategy, promotions, and e-commerce funnel optimization; comfortable executing directly in platforms and analyzing performance metrics.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with A/B testing, experimentation frameworks, unit economics analysis, bundle/BOGO offer design, or previous work optimizing AOV and conversion rates.
Tools & Tech Stack
- Shopify or Shopify-like e-commerce platform, Statsig for experimentation and split testing, and general proficiency with analytics dashboards and performance metric tools.
