About the Role

Overview

We are seeking a talented Motion Graphics Creator to produce high-impact promotional trailers, episode highlights, and short-form video assets for a fast-growing podcast brand.

This role is focused on transforming long-form podcast content into engaging, scroll-stopping social video designed to drive audience growth and engagement across multiple platforms. You will work closely with production, content, and marketing teams to ensure all assets are visually compelling, on-brand, and optimized for performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create promotional trailers and highlight reels for podcast episodes
  • Produce short-form video content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, and X
  • Design and animate graphics, titles, captions, lower thirds, and branded elements
  • Collaborate with editors and producers to identify high-impact moments for promotion
  • Maintain and evolve a consistent visual identity across all video assets
  • Build and manage a library of reusable templates, animations, and brand assets
  • Adapt content across multiple formats and aspect ratios (16:9, 9:16, 1:1)
  • Iterate quickly based on feedback and tight turnaround timelines
  • Stay up to date on social media trends and content best practices
  • Support live events, sponsorship integrations, and special creative projects

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in motion graphics, video production, or content creation
  • Proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and visual storytelling
  • Experience creating native short-form content for social platforms
  • Ability to follow brand guidelines and maintain visual consistency
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple deadlines
  • Clear communication skills and ability to apply creative feedback

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience working with podcasts, media companies, or creator-led brands
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop
  • Familiarity with Figma for design collaboration
  • Experience with Frame.io or similar review tools
  • Knowledge of audio-driven animation or waveform visualization
  • Understanding of YouTube content strategy and thumbnail design

Success Metrics

  • Quality and consistency of motion graphics across published content
  • Timely delivery aligned with episode release schedules
  • Engagement performance of social video assets
  • Speed and accuracy of revisions
  • Growth and usability of the internal template and asset library

Must-Have Criteria

  • 2+ years of motion graphics or video production experience
  • Strong proficiency in After Effects and Premiere Pro
  • Demonstrated experience creating short-form social video content
  • Portfolio showcasing work across multiple platforms

  • No relevant motion graphics or video production experience
  • Lack of proficiency in After Effects and Premiere Pro
  • No portfolio demonstrating short-form social content
  • Inability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Interview Process
