About the Role
Job Title: Demand Planner & Logistics Manager, Amazon Marketplace Type: Full-time; Remote Industry: Home & Kitchen
We are one of the fastest-growing premium cookware brands in the world, known for its patented hybrid technology and endorsed by top chefs including Gordon Ramsay. The Amazon channel is a critical growth engine for the brand, spanning multiple global marketplaces. This role sits at the intersection of supply chain strategy and Amazon-specific logistics execution, ensuring product availability, cost efficiency, and operational excellence across every marketplace our brand sells on.
About the Role:
This is not a general supply chain role. You will eat, breathe, and sleep Amazon logistics. While you will collaborate closely with our broader logistics and operations team, your focus is singular: making sure the right product is in the right Amazon fulfillment center, in the right quantity, at the right time, across every active marketplace. You will own demand planning, inbound shipment execution, inventory health, and cost management for Amazon FBA and any hybrid fulfillment strategies
Key Responsibilities:
*Demand Planning & Forecasting*
• Build and maintain SKU-level demand forecasts for all Amazon marketplaces (US, CA, UK, DE, FR, IT, ES) using historical sales data, seasonality, promotional calendars, and market trends • Coordinate with our broader supply chain team to align production schedules and purchase orders with Amazon-specific demand signals • Monitor and adjust forecasts around key Amazon events (Prime Day, Black Friday/Cyber Monday, Lightning Deals, seasonal spikes) • Develop early warning systems for potential stockouts or overstock situations, with clear escalation paths.
*Amazon Inbound Logistics &FBA Operations*
• Own end-to-end inbound shipment planning and execution for Amazon FBA across all active marketplaces • Manage shipment creation, carrier coordination, and compliance with Amazon’s ever- changing receiving requirements (labeling, packaging, prep, hazmat where applicable) • Optimize placement strategies to minimize split shipments, reduce inbound costs, and improve regional inventory distribution • Monitor and resolve inbound shipment discrepancies, lost inventory, and receiving delays through Seller Central case management
*Inventory Health & Cost Management*
• Track and optimize key inventory health metrics: IPI score, sell-through rate, excess and aged inventory, stranded inventory, and restock limits • Proactively manage aged inventory surcharges by identifying at-risk SKUs and executing removal or liquidation strategies before cost thresholds are hit • Develop and maintain a dashboard or reporting cadence for inventory health across all marketplaces • Partner with finance and operations to manage landed cost, FBA fee analysis, and overall channel profitability
*Cross-Marketplace Coordination*
• Manage the operational complexity of multi-marketplace inventory, including EU cross-border fulfillment programs (Pan-EU, EFN, CEE) • Stay ahead of marketplace-specific compliance requirements (VAT, product safety, import regulations) in partnership with our legal and finance teams • Serve as the logistics point of contact for any new marketplace launches on Amazon
*Collaboration & Reporting*
• Work hand-in-hand with our broader logistics team while maintaining dedicated focus on Amazon-specific needs • Provide regular reporting on inventory positions, inbound pipeline, and logistics KPIs to leadership • Collaborate with the Amazon channel team on promotional planning to ensure inventory supports planned deals and advertising pushes
Requirements:
*Must-Have*
• 5+ years of direct experience managing Amazon FBA logistics and demand planning, ideally for a brand doing $50M+ in annual Amazon revenue • Deep, hands-on expertise with Amazon Seller Central logistics tools: shipment workflows, inventory management, restock recommendations, FBA fee structures, and removal/liquidation programs • Proven experience managing Amazon logistics across multiple marketplaces (US required; CA and EU strongly preferred) • Strong background in demand forecasting with the ability to build and maintain accurate SKU-level models • Experience with large-scale operations: high SKU count, high unit volume, and complex promotional calendars • Ability to work independently in a remote, international setting with strong written communication and proactive follow-through • Comfortable overlapping with US business hours as needed for cross-functional collaboration
*Preferred*
• Experience with Amazon’s Pan-EU, EFN, or CEE fulfillment programs • Familiarity with Amazon Warehousing & Distribution (AWD) or other upstream Amazon logistics programs • Background in consumer goods, cookware, kitchen, or home categories • Experience building SOPs and training documentation for logistics processes
