What We’re Looking For: We are seeking an energetic, customer-focused In-Store Brand Ambassador to represent a fast-growing clean beauty skincare brand across retail partner locations in Mexico City, primarily within Ulta Beauty stores.

This field-based role is responsible for increasing brand awareness, educating retail teams and customers, driving product sales, and ensuring a best-in-class in-store experience. The ideal candidate is passionate about skincare, confident engaging customers face-to-face, and thrives working independently while managing multiple store locations and activations.

Responsibilities: i. Product Education & Brand Advocacy:

  • Educate retail associates and customers on product benefits, ingredients, usage, and brand positioning.
  • Deliver engaging product demonstrations and mini skincare consultations on the sales floor.
  • Communicate the brand story and clean beauty philosophy in a compelling and authentic manner.
  • Serve as the primary in-store representative of the brand, maintaining professionalism and enthusiasm at all times.

ii. Sales & Customer Engagement:

  • Proactively engage shoppers to generate product interest and increase sell-through.
  • Provide personalized product recommendations based on customer needs.
  • Support the achievement of sales goals and performance targets across assigned retail locations.
  • Create memorable customer experiences that encourage trial, purchase, and repeat business.

iii. Retail Partnership Support:

  • Build strong working relationships with store leadership and retail associates.
  • Conduct product education sessions and training for store teams.
  • Support in-store events, promotional activations, and retailer-led campaigns.
  • Ensure brand standards and merchandising expectations are maintained where applicable.

iv. Field Operations & Reporting:

  • Manage a schedule across multiple retail locations efficiently and independently.
  • Submit timely visit reports, sales recaps, photos, and market insights using company reporting tools.
  • Provide feedback on customer sentiment, competitor activity, product performance, and store opportunities.
  • Track and communicate field performance metrics to the brand team.

Requirements: i. Experience

  • 1+ years of experience in retail sales, beauty, skincare, cosmetics, wellness, or a customer-facing sales environment.
  • Experience educating customers and driving product sales in-store.
  • Demonstrated success working toward sales goals, quotas, or performance targets.
  • Experience conducting product demonstrations, consultations, or promotional activities preferred.

ii. Communication:

  • Fluent in Spanish and English.
  • Daily customer and retail associate interactions will primarily be conducted in Spanish.
  • Reporting, written communication, and meetings with the U.S.-based team will be conducted in English.
  • Strong verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Comfortable speaking confidently with both customers and retail staff.

iii. Field & Operational Requirements

  • Based in or able to travel throughout Mexico City.
  • Reliable transportation for travel between retail locations and events.
  • Availability to work flexible retail schedules, including weekends.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Personal smartphone or tablet for scheduling, reporting, communication, and photo documentation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with beauty retailers such as Ulta Beauty, Sephora, Liverpool, Palacio de Hierro, or similar retail environments.
  • Knowledge of skincare ingredients, routines, and clean beauty products.
  • Previous experience as a Brand Ambassador, Beauty Advisor, Field Sales Representative, Product Educator, or similar role.
  • Familiarity with field reporting systems, mobile reporting platforms, or territory management tools.
  • Experience supporting in-store events, launches, or promotional activations.
