About the Role

Video Editor (Social Media & Paid Ads)

About the Role We’re scaling our creative output and looking for a talented Video Editor to join our growing team. This role is focused on creating high-performing, premium-quality content for social media and paid advertising campaigns.

You’ll work closely with our creative team to produce videos that not only stop the scroll but also elevate the brand. We’re looking for someone who understands pacing, storytelling, hooks, and the subtle details that make content feel polished and intentional—not overly templated or generic.

Responsibilities

  • Edit short-form social media content for platforms including TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Meta
  • Produce high-converting paid ad creatives optimized for performance marketing
  • Create engaging hooks and strong opening sequences that capture attention quickly
  • Deliver polished, premium-quality edits that align with the brand’s visual identity
  • Collaborate closely with the creative team on concepts, revisions, and campaign goals
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines consistently
  • Organize project files and maintain efficient editing workflows

Must-Have Skills

  • Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Proven experience editing content for social media and paid advertising
  • Experience working with US-based startups, brands, or agencies
  • Strong understanding of short-form content structure, pacing, and retention-focused editing
  • Ability to create refined, brand-forward edits that feel elevated and intentional
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong portfolio or reel showcasing both performance-driven and aesthetically polished work
  • Ability to take direction, iterate quickly, and work collaboratively within a creative team

Nice-to-Have

  • Previous experience working in an ad agency environment
  • Experience with After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or motion graphics
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted video editing tools and workflows
  • Understanding of direct-response marketing and paid social performance metrics
