About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive eCommerce Coordinator to support the day-to-day execution of a fast-growing direct-to-consumer eCommerce business. This role is responsible for bridging the gap between product merchandising and the overall online shopping experience, ensuring products are properly presented, optimized, and maintained across multiple commerce websites.

The ideal candidate has experience working within Shopify ecosystems, understands digital merchandising best practices, and is comfortable supporting product launches, promotions, customer experience initiatives, and website optimization efforts. This person should be highly organized, technically capable, and passionate about delivering an exceptional customer journey.

Responsibilities / Duties

  • Build, maintain, and optimize PDPs and product collections across commerce websites
  • Support the setup and coordination of Shopify Customizer assets aligned with marketing calendars, promotions, and product launches
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of product offerings and brand voice to support merchandising opportunities
  • Populate, organize, and manage product data across commerce ecosystems and third-party applications
  • Configure and maintain SEO and AEO elements within product catalogs
  • Support post-purchase customer journeys including returns, exchanges, warranties, and related workflows
  • Assist with website landing experiences such as new customer offers, pop-ups, and promotional experiences
  • Support continual optimization of PDP layouts and customer shopping experiences
  • Configure and maintain product recommendations and dynamic product placements
  • Manage and optimize customer reviews platforms and related customer experience initiatives
  • Curate and maintain promotional product collections across multiple brand websites
  • Assist with testing and monitoring promotions, campaigns, coupon setups, customer groups, and pricing initiatives
  • Collaborate with Customer Service teams to implement quick-turn updates to product pages, shipping information, customer pages, and bug fixes
  • Organize and manage merchandising assets within Digital Asset Management systems
  • Support product quiz creation, maintenance, and assortment management
  • Assist with documenting Shopify merchandising processes and best practices
  • Support A/B testing initiatives, project builds, and ticket management workflows
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and optimization of company websites
  • Perform additional eCommerce support duties as needed

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Must-Have Skills

  • 2–5 years of experience in an eCommerce or digital merchandising role
  • Working knowledge of Shopify and product merchandising workflows
  • Experience building and maintaining Product Detail Pages (PDPs) and collections
  • Understanding of SEO best practices within eCommerce product catalogs
  • Basic working knowledge of HTML & CSS
  • Experience supporting promotions, campaigns, discounts, and product launches
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics and using data to support decision-making
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Experience working with Digital Asset Management systems and merchandising assets

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with Jira and Agile project management workflows
  • Familiarity with A/B testing and conversion optimization initiatives
  • Experience with product recommendation tools and dynamic merchandising
  • Exposure to reviews platforms, post-purchase journeys, and customer retention tools
  • Knowledge of eCommerce customer experience trends and best practices

  • Experience within lifestyle, outdoor, sporting goods, or enthusiast-driven brands
