About the Role
Job Title: Notion x ClickUp Migrator / Notion Systems Architect Job Type: Project-based / Part-time (30 hours)/ Remote Work Hours: PST
Job Overview: We're helping our client find a Notion Migration Specialist to lead a full migration from ClickUp to Notion.
This is not a redesign project. The Notion system is already architected and documented, your role is to audit the current ClickUp setup, determine what should migrate, and execute a clean, structured transition without losing workflow context.
The goal: deliver a fully functional, reliable system the team can actually use.
Responsibilities: Audit & Planning
- Map the full ClickUp workspace (workflows, fields, automations, permissions, dependencies)
- Review the existing Notion system and define a clear migration strategy
- Identify what migrates, what gets adapted, and what should be archived
Migration Execution
- Run a pilot migration for one workflow (test mapping, permissions, rollback)
- Migrate projects, tasks, databases, fields, and relationships in phases
- Recreate automations and workflows within Notion constraints
System Integrity & Optimization
- Identify ClickUp features that don't translate cleanly and propose workarounds
- Validate data integrity (fields, links, permissions, dependencies)
- Clean up inconsistencies and ensure usability
Handoff & Launch
- Set up permissions and ownership structure in Notion
- Create training materials (Looms, quick-start guides, role-based usage)
- Execute full cutover, including rollback planning and post-launch fixes
Must-Have Skills
- Requirements:
- 4–5+ years of experience in systems design

- Strong expertise in Notion database architecture (relations

- Proven experience with system migrations (ClickUp

- Strong judgment on what should vs. shouldn’t migrate
- Ability to work independently and navigate incomplete or evolving specs
- Understanding of workflow differences between tools and how to bridge them
- Comfortable using AI tools (e.g.
- Claude)
Nice-to-Have
- Familiarity with process optimization / SOP creation
- Experience training teams on new systems or tools
