About the Role
We're helping our client find an Accounting Consultant (Manager Level) to support core accounting operations during a period of operational transition.
In this role, you will lead and support month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting while helping stabilize and improve accounting processes. You'll work closely with AP, AR, payroll, and finance leadership to ensure accurate and timely financial operations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and support month-end and year-end close activities
- Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules
- Ensure books are closed accurately and on time
- Review accounting processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and controls
- Document and standardize existing workflows
- Partner with AP, AR, payroll, and finance stakeholders to support smooth operations
- Assist with audit support and reporting requests
- Contribute to finance infrastructure and process improvements
Must-Have Skills
- * Proven experience as an Accounting Manager or Accounting Consultant
- * Strong hands-on experience with month-end close processes
- * Experience preparing journal entries

- * Prior experience in a consulting or transition/stabilization environment
- * Experience improving or standardizing accounting processes
- * ERP experience (NetSuite preferred)
- * Exposure to audit support and financial reporting processes
