About the Role
Job Description
We’re looking for a fast, creative, and performance-driven Video Editor to produce high-converting content for social media and paid advertising. This role is ideal for someone who understands how to edit for attention, retention, and conversion — especially within founder-led / founder brand environments.
You’ll be responsible for editing short-form and ad creative that drives engagement and sales across platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Meta Ads, and YouTube Shorts. You should have a strong sense of pacing, hooks, storytelling, and what makes content perform.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit high-performing short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts
- Create and iterate on paid ad creatives for Meta, TikTok, and other platforms
- Develop scroll-stopping hooks, strong pacing, and engaging storytelling
- Repurpose long-form content into short-form, high-converting clips
- Collaborate with the team to test and optimize creative variations
- Add captions, motion graphics, sound effects, and visual elements to enhance performance
- Stay on top of social media trends, formats, and editing styles
- Organize and manage video assets efficiently
