About the Role

We’re helping our client find a Video Editor & Animator to produce high-quality, social-first video content that reflects a premium brand standard. In this role, you will translate creative and performance briefs into finished video assets, quickly, consistently, and at scale, while contributing to the brand’s growth across global audiences.

This role sits at the intersection of execution and creative contribution, owning the end-to-end video editing process across organic and paid channels.

Responsibilities:

Social-first editing (primary output)

  • Edit high-volume short-form content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts — hook-first, platform-native, fast turnaround
  • Convert Performance Strategist briefs into paid ad creative: hook variations, length variants, format adaptations for testing
  • Understand the structural difference between organic and paid content and apply it without being told each time
  • Cut UGC footage from creators into polished, on-brand social content
  • Produce multiple variants of the same concept for creative testing

Storytelling & asset creation

  • Read a brief and make strong creative decisions — pacing, structure, music selection, sound design
  • Source stock footage, imagery, and audio assets when original footage doesn’t cover what’s needed
  • Create AI-generated voiceovers where required — tool selection, tone direction, integration into the edit
  • Add sound effects and ambient audio that elevate the piece — interest in music and premium aesthetics is a genuine requirement
  • Select music that fits the brand: calm confidence, precision, the feeling of a well-made thing

Motion graphics & animation

  • Text overlays, captions, kinetic typography, and motion graphics as standard elements of every edit
  • Build reusable motion templates for recurring content types — product callouts, lower thirds, transitions
  • Clean, minimal motion work that matches the visual identity — restrained and intentional
  • After Effects for motion work; no 3D animation required

Colour grading

  • Grade all content to a consistent, premium look, intentional creative grading, not just colour correction
  • Match footage from different sources, cameras, and lighting conditions to a coherent visual identity
  • Develop and maintain a grading style that travels across content types

Workflow & production

  • Manage review and feedback cycles via Frame.io, proficiency required, not optional
  • Maintain an organised project and asset library
  • Communicate clearly on timelines, flag issues early, not at the deadline

Must-Have Skills

  • Strong portfolio of short-form social content demonstrating pacing, hook structure, and premium brand sensibility
  • Proven ability to convert performance creative briefs into paid ad variants
  • Colour grading proficiency, produces a consistent, premium look across mixed footage
  • Frame.io proficiency, primary async review and collaboration tool; non-negotiable
  • Solid motion graphics: text animations, kinetic typography, overlays in After Effects
  • Strong instinct for music and sound, selects tracks and sound design that match a premium aesthetic
  • Experience sourcing stock footage, imagery, and audio assets
  • Ability to create and direct AI-generated voiceovers
  • Proficient in Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve, fast, organized, consistent at high volume
  • Strong aesthetic sensibility for a premium brand, knows the difference between an edit that earns trust and one that undermines it
  • Fluent English, written and spoken to a professional standard

  • Experience with golf, outdoor, or premium lifestyle brand content
  • Active golfer, plays regularly, understands the game and what the experience on
  • the course means
  • Creative input during briefing, can contribute ideas, not just execute
  • Captions and subtitle workflow for multilingual content
